After founding Affiliated Financial Planners over 40 years ago, Thomas Hock, CFP®, is transitioning to his next season in life.
A graduate of Penn State, Tom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Accounting. Tom has been licensed since June 1980. Prior to starting the firm in 1987, Tom began his career with IDS and American Express. Tom earned the Certified Financial Planner™ designation in 1992. His holds the following designations: Series 1, 7, 24 & 63, as well as licenses in Life & Health.
Lifelong native of Lehigh Valley, PA, Tom and his wife Valerie continue to enjoy making this their primary home. Due to their love for travelling, they make every effort to spend part of the winter in their new Florida home. They can also be found exploring beautiful locations in a search of breathtaking views, playing golf, and downhill skiing in Colorado and Utah. Tom’s love of travel has taken him to over 40 countries around the world and six continents. He is an avid cyclist, loves hiking and adores his dogs Pierre and Peanut. Tom served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard and is a proud Vietnam Veteran.
