Kevin Rhodes

Kevin began his financial services career in 1989 with VALIC, primarily working with retirement plans in the areas of healthcare and education. He became an independent financial planner in 2005. Kevin holds the Series 6,7,63, 66, Life and Health Licenses and earned the Certified Financial Planner designation in 1999.

With undergraduate and graduate degrees in education, he enjoys the teaching aspect of working with clients to help them gain a better understanding of how to solve their financial challenges. Growing up on a farm has given Kevin a strong appreciation for the unique challenges and hard work of small business owners, especially in the area of providing retirement income for themselves and their employees. Kevin also enjoys helping senior clients navigate the ever increasing complexity of Medicare, working with them to make informed decisions.

With experience in all aspects of financial planning, he places a high emphasis on helping clients based on a framework of integrity and trust.

Kevin and his wife Mary have 3 grown children, and 2 grandchildren. He enjoys hiking, sports, national parks, family genealogy, and is actively involved in his church. He also started running a few years ago and has done several half-marathons and two marathons. His “bucket list” includes going to all the major league baseball stadiums, visiting each state in the U.S., hiking all the sections of the Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania, and running a three generational half-marathon or marathon (or at least a 5K!)
